Line dancing classes in Jerusalem are taught by Atara Mayer, a Jerusalem and Maryland native, who decided it was time to bring American country-style dance to the Holy Land.

Each class begins with instruction on a new song/line dance choreography. Once the dance has been taught and danced, the class moves on to review of previous classes' line dances, including brief choreography instruction, followed by dancing through the song. Line dancing is open to men and women of all ages, just like the eclectic crowd you'd find in a Texan line dance honkytonk.
