FAQs
Frequently asked questions
Q: Where do we dance?
A: The First Station at 4 David Remez Street, Jerusalem
Q: Who participates in Jerusalem Line Dancing?
A: Jerusalem Line Dancing is open to men and women of all ages. We welcome all dance levels - Beginner to Advanced!
Q: When is Jerusalem Line Dancing?
A: In general, we meet on Mondays at 20:00 (8PM). Sometimes, scheduling changes occur; we communicate those changes in the WhatsApp group - so you should join it!
Q: How can I join the quiet (admin only posts) WhatsApp group?
A: Click here!
Q: I've never danced before. Is this class very difficult?
A: The first hour of every class is instructional. Every dance, usually beginner-level, is taught step-by-step, which is perfect for first-timers and veteran dancers! After the instructional hour, we offer half an hour of "open dance" when we review dances that we've done before, but without formal instruction. Of course, you are welcome to join in - the more you try, the more you learn, the better you become!!
What should I wear? What should I bring?
Wear comfortable clothing that enables you to dance! We always encourage cowboy boots, western wear, or the JLM Line Dancing t-shirt (coming soon!), but really, anything that enables you to move safely and comfortably will be perfect. We recommend you bring a bottle of water and, in the cooler months, a sweater or jacket that can be removed once you start moving.
